Shipping Delays Announcement - UK Heatwave June 2026

Firstly, thank you so much for your order and for supporting Earthy Crunch UK. ❤️

I just wanted to give everyone a quick update about dispatch.

As you probably know, the UK has been hit by a bit of a brutal heatwave this week, with temperatures reaching 36°C (97°F) in many places. Unfortunately, the clay room I work from is in the loft of our 1888 house, and it's been recording temperatures of almost 38°C (100°F). It's honestly become unbearably hot and simply isn't a safe environment to work in.

Normally I'd just crack on, but as many of you know, I'm also a dialysis patient. Managing my fluid balance means this isn't a case of drinking a bit more water and powering through. My health has to come first.

People often ask why I don't use air conditioning or a fan. Air conditioning isn't exactly standard in UK homes, especially one built in 1888! As for fans, they're actually a no-go around clay. They blow dust, fibres, hair and other particles around the room, which could contaminate products while they're being packed. That's not something I'm willing to risk.

I've been doing what I can, packing orders in short bursts with frequent cool-down breaks (and more showers than I'd care to admit!). I've also conveniently found reasons to spend five days in the office this week enjoying the air conditioning. And honestly... has anyone actually slept properly this week? I'm running on absolute fumes.

Rather than risk making mistakes or making myself ill, I'm going to pause dispatch until Monday. I'll be spending the weekend packing orders during the coolest hours of the morning so everything is ready to go.

Orders will be dispatched across Monday and Tuesday.

As a thank you for your patience, all UK orders placed from Wednesday onwards will be upgraded to FREE 24-hour shipping. International orders will still be sent as quickly as possible but will travel using the shipping service originally selected.

If this delay doesn't work for you, please just get in touch and I'll happily arrange a full refund.

I really don't like delaying orders and I avoid doing it wherever possible, but these are exceptional circumstances and I have to prioritise working safely.

Thank you so much for your understanding, your patience and your continued support. It genuinely means the world to me.
