“Soft, sandy and crumbly, with muddy freshly-dug earth and unexpected gasoline hits.”
Description
Copper Hill is a hand-foraged Montana clay discovered by Samantha Hokulani, with a soft, crumbly texture that Sam describes as breaking down almost like kinetic sand. Damp, sandy and gritty when dry, it delivers a freshly dug, muddy earthiness with deeper mineral notes and occasional hits of gasoline.
These naturally occurring pieces are crumbly, easy on the teeth and melt down into a soft, smooth finish. Copper Hill is an especially interesting choice for anyone who enjoys raw, natural earth textures rather than the harder, roasted crunch associated with many processed clays.
Please note that Copper Hill is sold without sifting, meaning natural stems, roots and other small pieces of organic material may be present.
