Welcome to Earthy Crunch UK. By using this website and making a purchase, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before placing an order.

Earthy Crunch UK is the trading name of a sole trader business. It is not a limited company.

This website and our products are for adults aged 18 and over only. By placing an order, you confirm that you are 18 or over.

1. About Our Products and Who They're For

Our products are made from naturally occurring earth-based materials, such as clay, soil, sand, chalk, rocks and stones. They are sold for ASMR, sensory and hobbyist use.

We know our products are valued by the pica and geophagy community, and we're proud to serve it. We do not actively encourage swallowing any of our products. We also don't pass judgement on the choices adults make about how they use what they buy.

Why we use the term "Edible Clay"

You'll see "Edible Clay" and similar terms in our product titles. We use them so the community can find us when searching. They are not a claim that our products are food-grade. We do not market our products as food-grade or lab-tested, and every product page is clearly labelled with its Test Status and a Safety & Disclaimer section so you know exactly what you're buying.

Earthy Crunch UK does not make any medical claims about our products. No item sold on this site is intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any medical condition.

2. Shipping and Delivery

Shipping Locations

We ship worldwide using Royal Mail Tracked services. Shipping rates are calculated automatically at checkout based on your parcel's size, weight and destination.

Some restrictions may apply due to local customs regulations. If your country is unavailable at checkout, we may not be able to ship there at this time.

Dispatch Schedule

Orders are packed and dispatched on:

• Mondays
• Fridays

If a dispatch is delayed, your order will go out on the next working day (Tuesday or Saturday). Any additional dispatch days depend on availability and are at our discretion.

Packaging

We're committed to sustainable, earth-friendly packaging. All orders are packed discreetly using plastic-free, recyclable or reusable materials wherever possible. Because our products are fragile, some minor breakage can happen in the post, but we choose planet over plastic.

Every order includes a wooden spoon for a little extra unboxing joy.

Shipping Delays and Notifications

Occasional delays may occur due to courier issues, customs processing or peak seasonal demand. If there are any general service disruptions, we will post updates on our website and social media.

For individual order delays or issues, we will contact you directly by email.

Offline Orders

We do not accept offline orders. All purchases must be made through our website using secure, encrypted payment gateways. This keeps every transaction safe for both you and us.

3. Returns and Refunds

Please read this section carefully.

Opened Goods: No Returns

Due to the nature of our products, we have a strict no-returns policy on opened packaging. For health and hygiene reasons, goods that have been unsealed after delivery cannot be returned.

Unopened Goods

If you change your mind, you can cancel your order within 14 days of delivery, provided the item is still sealed and unopened. Contact us within that 14 days to let us know. Return postage is your responsibility, and we will refund you within 14 days of receiving the item back in its original sealed condition.

Problems With Your Order

We will refund or replace your item in the following situations:

• Incorrect or missing items: if you receive the wrong item or your order is incomplete.
• Damage in transit: if your order arrives significantly damaged. Handmade pieces can crack or crumble a little in the post, which is normal and not treated as damage.
• Hazardous contamination: natural products may contain small inclusions such as roots, stones or crystals. If you find a hazardous foreign object (for example sharp metal or plastic), we will refund or replace the item.

Please contact us within 7 days of delivery with clear photos so we can sort it out quickly.

Natural Variation

Our products come directly from nature, so differences in shape, colour, texture, scent and appearance between batches are normal and are not grounds for a refund. Temperature and humidity can change a product's characteristics, and items can absorb surrounding scents. Airing them in sunlight helps.

Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights.

4. Product Safety and Liability

Our products are not food-grade certified. As they are naturally sourced from the earth, they may contain trace minerals or naturally occurring elements. We carefully select suppliers trusted within the pica community, but Earthy Crunch UK does not carry out independent testing. Please don't assume a product has been tested for contaminants unless its product page says so.

How you use our products is entirely at your own discretion and risk. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Earthy Crunch UK is not liable for any harmful effects arising from the use of our products.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law.

Feedback is always welcome. Texture, colour and scent are highly subjective, so we ask customers to keep feedback on a product separate from reviews of our business and service, as unfair reviews can hurt small businesses.
