Natural light does most of the heavy lifting. It brings out the texture and the subtle colour variation in your stash without needing any actual equipment. Sound matters more than almost anything else, the crunch is the entire point, so a quiet room does more for you than an expensive microphone, though a basic one certainly helps. Keep the setup simple, a wooden tray, a ceramic plate, even your own packaging can frame things nicely without overthinking the whole production.
Most importantly, just be yourself. Whether you show your face or stay entirely behind the camera, what actually comes through is the same thing: whether it's real or not. Realness reads every time, and it's the only thing you genuinely can't fake your way past.
