Anoothi Mishra is the creative force behind Clays All Around, known for crafting innovative and unique edible clay treats. With over 30 distinctive varieties, each thoughtfully designed and meticulously prepared, Anoothi blends imagination, customer inspiration, and her love of textures to create treats that are both visually striking and satisfyingly crunchy.


What inspired you to start creating your clays or edible treats?
My interest towards chalks used to write in schools.

What products do you specialise in, and what do you think sets you apart?
I specialise in creating unique treats and I have more than 30 varieties of distinctive treats which no one else have, with maintained cleanliness.

Who or what inspires your creativity in the world of clays and textures?
My imagination to mix different clays and create something unique, and my customers’ suggestions.

Can you tell us about the first time you discovered eating clay, chalk, or felt a craving for it?
The first time I felt like that was when I was in class 12 and wanted to eat the chalks.

Which of your products is your personal favourite, and why?
Mud Cakes. As they have a mix of all the different clays with different tastes and is made with crumbs and dust combined. So perfect texture and taste.

If you could describe your ideal crunch in three words, what would they be?
Soft, crunchy, earthy.

What is your favourite texture to work with—and eat!
My favourite texture to work with is smooth treats that feel soft and easily settled.

Which flavours or earthy notes do you always find yourself craving?
I find cementy taste the most craving one.

Can you share a funny or memorable moment from making your products?
One memorable moment is the first time I made red velvet cakes, which is a layered treat. Seeing two different colours together was such a unique experience.
