Ramya, the creator behind Rose Clay, brings the rich flavours and textures of Indian clays to a wider audience. Inspired by her own cravings and a desire to share traditional earthy treats with the world, she focuses on flavour, crunch, and variety—crafting distinctive creations using hand-ground powders and bold imagination.
What inspired you to start creating your clays or edible treats?
When I'm trying different indian clays i feel that every corner of the world should enjoy our clays/ treats then i started it as business.
What products do you specialise in, and what do you think sets you apart?
We use hand grind powders to make treats, That's a good way to keep the flavour and give good taste, my Black currants, purple logs, chikki, ember pucks are top most selling items.
Who or what inspires your creativity in the world of clays and textures?
I know the cravings of people with pica as I'm one of them, so i thought of giving good flavours, chrunch and verity items to satisfy people cravings in creative look.
Can you tell us about the first time you discovered eating clay, chalk, or felt a craving for it?
When I was 13 years old i Started to eat slate pencil.
Which of your products is your personal favourite, and why?
I love Red nakumatt, because of its crunch and unique flavour.
If you could describe your ideal crunch in three words, what would they be?
EARTHY CRUMBLY NON STICKY

Pinkish colour clay with non sticky earthy clay with full of crunch
