Due to the naturally fragile and powdery nature of loess clay, many pieces arrived cracked or broken during transit. Rather than discard these beautiful clays, we now offer certain varieties in broken pieces, fragments, or crumb form.

The texture, flavour, aroma, and overall sensory experience remain exactly the same. In many cases, the broken pieces are actually easier to enjoy, allowing you to experience the same authentic Chinese loess character without needing to break larger pieces yourself.
