Details
“A gentle cementy snap with smooth shards and fresh earthy notes.”
Kylie Clay is a naturally sun-dried Indian clay known for its smooth, medium-density texture and fresh cementy-earthy profile. The irregular raw clay chunks break into small, delicate shards, delivering a gentle snap before crumbling into a soft, clean finish with very little grit or stickiness — a texture reminiscent of a softer Nakumatt.
The Crunch Profile
Texture: Medium-density, smooth and clean, breaking into small soft shards with minimal grit or stickiness
(Note: this is a natural earth product so consistency can vary amongst the raw clays and chalks so there may be some grit or sandy textures on occasion)
Flavour: Fresh cementy earth with mild nuttiness, fresh-water notes and a subtle dusty finish
Crunch factor: 3 – Medium
Colour: Light grey with occasional beige and soft brown tones
ASMR: Gentle, crisp snap
Aroma: Fresh earth, rainwater, dusty minerals, mild cement
Hydration: Dampening produces a softer, more compact texture while bringing out the clay's faint dusty aroma
