Petrichor Overload is a custom-made treat exclusive to Earthy Crunch UK, created for anyone who thinks the best part of clay is that unmistakable smell and flavour of earth after rain. Each batch is handmade from a premium blend of Rose, Elephant and Swan clay powders, with additional clay crumbs mixed through to give the texture a little extra character.

Shaped into charming bite-sized hearts, these light grey treats pack an unusually intense earthy experience. The flavour is mineral-rich and distinctly cement-like, layered with fresh rain-on-soil petrichor, damp earth and the nostalgic atmosphere of a basement after a particularly good downpour. It's essentially the classic Indian grey clay experience with the petrichor dial snapped clean off.

The texture starts with a crisp exterior before breaking down into a slightly sticky, chewy clay texture, with little crispy granules appearing throughout the bite. That combination of initial crunch, soft chew and occasional granule crackle gives Petrichor Overload a more complex texture than a straightforward powdery clay.

A note about breakage

Petrichor Overload Treats and Pops are naturally fragile. They can crack, crumble or arrive broken during transit, particularly the larger Pop format. This is completely normal for this type of clay product and doesn't mean you've received a dud.

The added clay crumbs can also separate slightly during transit, so don't be surprised if your treats arrive looking a little more rustic than they did when they left us. They're clay treats. They're allowed to be a bit dramatic.
