Cloudy Clay comes from the well-known Butter family of Indian clays, recognised for a smooth, slightly waxy character and balanced sensory profile. This roasted grey clay is carefully prepared to enhance both crunch and flavour, resulting in a clean, smoky experience that feels refined rather than heavy. Its soft grey tones and subtle darkening from roasting give it a muted, "cloudy" appearance — hence the name.
