Chinese Black Loess is a distinctive, dark-hued clay harvested from China, offering an intensely earthy, authentic topsoil experience with a satisfyingly high crunch factor. On first bite it presents a firm, chalky exterior that gives way to a soft, creamy interior — with genuine batch-to-batch variation, sometimes reading slightly waxy or "cementy," other times more oily and smooth. The flavour is deeply rooted in damp, petrichor-scented soil, with a bold raw-earth taste, hints of damp mud and occasional lightly sweet undertones.

Broken items are not eligible for refunds, as the flavour and enjoyment remain the same, even if the item arrives in pieces. Each parcel includes a wooden spoon to help you enjoy crumbs or powder just as easily.
