Details
“A snappy crunch that carries a warm, coconut-smoked aroma from start to finish.”
Coconut Smoke Clay is a distinctive, smoke-forward Indian clay that brings together a crisp texture and deep, aromatic flavour. Sourced from mineral-rich Indian soil and traditionally smoked using coconut husks, it offers a clean, controlled bite with a satisfying snap that carries through from start to finish, breaking into unique shard-like pieces with no grit or gumminess.
The Crunch Profile
Texture: Medium-hard with a very snappy bite; fractures into smooth, shard-like pieces; softens into a paste without grit or stickiness
(Note: this is a natural earth product so consistency can vary amongst the raw clays and chalks so there may be some grit or sandy textures on occasion)
Flavour: Cementy roasted depth, earthy minerals, warm coconut smoke
Crunch factor: 3 – Medium
Colour: Dark grey to charcoal with smoked undertones
ASMR: Snappy crunch that softens into a smooth paste
Aroma: Basement-gasoline aroma when damp, warm coconut smoke, cementy depth
Hydration: Softens into a smooth paste as it's chewed
