Description
Double Delight Balls, also known as Grey Mantle, are a layered Indian clay treat combining the clean, mineral-rich character of grey clay with the darker, roasted depth of Black Candy. Each pack contains four hand-rolled spheres with a soft grey clay centre wrapped in a darker, smoke-infused outer layer, creating a striking two-tone finish and a completely different experience from the first bite to the last.
The outer coating brings a medium, satisfying crunch with gentle smoky and roasted notes before giving way to the softer grey centre. Once broken down, the texture becomes smooth and paste-like, with a clean, silky finish and none of the grit or loose crumbs associated with some more heavily textured clays.
Flavour-wise, Double Delight sits neatly between fresh, cementy grey clay and darker roasted earth. Expect mineral-rich cement notes, subtle basement character and a gentle charred smokiness that adds depth without completely taking over.
