Multani Balls are smooth, rounded Indian clay treats made from natural Multani clay, traditionally known as fuller’s earth, with fine white slate pencil crumbs blended through for an extra layer of texture. Each small-to-medium ball has a gently firm outer shell that gives way to a soft bite before gradually breaking down into a creamy, velvety paste.
The flavour is deeply earthy and mud-like, with an unmistakable rain-soaked petrichor quality that brings to mind dry roads just after the first rainfall.
